The path to success is rarely a straight line, and for the youngest private school founder in the state of Georgia, Gina Suggs is a testament to resilience. With the same tenacity that has propelled
past accomplishments, Ms. Suggs established the Kids C.A.R.E. to support children with the highest needs. As a compassionate and decisive leader, her vision of making an impact in southwest Atlanta is growing each year. A graduate of Tennessee State University, Ms. Suggs values quality education and exemplifies the motto of her alma mater - “Think, Work, and Serve.” Despite an internal tug toward entrepreneurship, Ms. Suggs began her career in a corporate role that she soon grew tired of.

 

In 2019, Ms. Suggs set out to establish a learning center in Atlanta. Gina believes that to create radical change, one must bravely do what others deem impossible. She set out to create a program to enrich and encourage preschoolers in the SW Atlanta community. And thus, Kids C.A.R.E. Atlanta was born.
